Effective date: August 25, 2026

Stryn ("Stryn," "we," "us") is a dealership video platform operated by SVVIM LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Stryn website and platform at stryn.io, including the vehicle pages dealerships share with their customers.

Who this covers

Stryn is used by two groups of people, and we collect different information from each:

Dealership users: dealership staff who log into Stryn to manage inventory, videos, and sharing.

Vehicle shoppers: people who view a vehicle page a dealership shared with them. Shoppers do not create accounts and do not log in.

Information we collect

From dealership users: name, work contact information, role at the dealership, login credentials, profile photo and title if provided, and activity within the platform (such as videos uploaded, vehicles shared, and pages viewed) so the dealership can operate its account.

Recordings of dealership staff: when a salesperson records an intro clip, we store that recording, and it contains their face and voice. They record it on their own phone, and it plays on the vehicle page their dealership shares with a shopper, which anyone holding the link can view. Under our Terms, the dealership is responsible for having that person's permission to publish it.

From vehicle shoppers: when a salesperson shares a vehicle page, they may record the shopper's first name and phone number in Stryn so the dealership can track its own outreach. That information is typed in by the salesperson; we never collect it from the shopper's device. A salesperson may also say a shopper's first name out loud in an intro clip. When they do, that name is part of the video itself, stored and streamed by Mux, our video provider, which means the same information exists in a second place and not only in the share record. When a shopper opens a shared page, we log that the page was viewed, the time, which vehicle and dealership it belonged to, which salesperson shared it, and the technical details a browser sends with any web request: the full browser user-agent string and the address of the referring page. We do not record IP addresses in these logs, we do not look up location, and we do not place any cookie or identifier on a shopper's device, so two visits by the same person are indistinguishable to us. Vehicle pages do not require an account, and we never ask shoppers for personal information.

Automatically: cookies and product analytics run only on the parts of Stryn that dealership staff log into. We use a signed session cookie to keep those users logged in, and PostHog for product analytics on those pages. Vehicle pages shared with shoppers carry no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not show ads.

How we use information

We use information to operate the platform: authenticating users, hosting and streaming vehicle videos, showing dealerships how their videos and shares perform, providing support, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who information is shared with

The dealership. Information about a vehicle page, including who it was shared with and whether it was viewed, is visible to the dealership that owns that vehicle. If a salesperson recorded your name and phone number when sharing a page with you, that information belongs to the dealership's records.

Service providers. We use trusted providers to run Stryn: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting, and product analytics on staff pages), Mux (video processing and streaming, including intro clips that carry a salesperson's face and voice and may carry a shopper's spoken first name), and PostHog (product analytics on staff pages). Because these providers deliver the pages and the video, their servers receive the network information that any web request carries, including IP address. Google Maps loads only if a shopper taps to view a dealership's location on a vehicle page; if they do, Google receives that request. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Stryn, our users, or others.

Text messages and calls

Stryn does not send text messages or calls to shoppers. When a salesperson shares a vehicle page by text, the message is sent from the salesperson's own phone through their own messaging app. Any conversation happens directly between the shopper and the dealership.

Data retention

Different things are kept for different lengths of time:

Account data is retained while the dealership's account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.

Share and view records are kept so dealerships can review their history. They are not deleted automatically, and they remain in our systems after an account ends.

Intro clips are deleted thirty (30) days after they are recorded. This runs automatically, on its own schedule, whether or not the dealership's account is still active, and we do not notify anyone before a clip is deleted. Nothing on the vehicle page breaks when one is: the page shows the salesperson without a clip, exactly as it does for a share that never had one.

If a dealership's account ends, its vehicle pages are taken offline. Dealerships keep their own original recordings either way, because staff record on their own phones and the source files stay on the dealership's devices.

If you want information about you removed, email legal@stryn.io. We handle these requests by hand: we will confirm what we hold, remove what we are able to remove, and tell you if the request concerns information the dealership controls, in which case we will direct you to that dealership or work with them to resolve it. We aim to respond within thirty days. Removing an intro clip you appear in is an exception to that routing, described under "Your choices and rights" below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed authentication sessions, and role-based access controls that limit each user to their own dealership's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.

Children

Stryn is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. To make a request, contact us at the address below. If your request concerns information a dealership collected (such as a share record with your name and phone number), we may direct the request to that dealership or work with them to resolve it.

If you appear in an intro clip. If you are the person recorded in an intro clip and you want it taken down, email legal@stryn.io and we will remove it. We do not need the dealership's agreement and we will not ask for it, and it makes no difference whether you still work there. Your likeness is yours, not your employer's, and you should not have to ask a former employer to take your face off the internet.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
